Growing up in Cranbourne, Mangok displayed a natural affinity for both Australian Rules Football and basketball. He would eventually attend St Kevin's High School on a sports scholarship, as he continued to decide on his sporting allegiance.

Despite his brother Goy being a tenured VFL veteran, Mangok’s passion ultimately lay on the hardwood, with his commitment leading him to overseas shores.

His goal is to follow in his sister Nya Lok’s footsteps to college, with his sibling recently graduating from George Washington University and signing with the Townsville Fire in the WNBL.

On the court, Mangok is a highlight reel, scoring with confidence both above the rim and behind the arc, whilst providing a rangy presence defensively as a shot blocker.

Mangok will be attending Crestwood Prep for the 2024-2025 high school year.

He currently holds an offer from Long Island University (D1).

Mangok's dreams were made possible through Airtime Basketball's 2024 Placement Program. His talents were identified, a full scholarship was facilitated with Crestwood Academy, and his flights were financially covered.
