Elijah Guer is one of Australia’s best kept secrets. Often overlooked for teams, Guer didn’t make much of an impression in the VJBL scene over his time growing up, but developed a reputation as one of Red Roo’s most prolific talents.

Half-South Sudanese, half-Mauritian, Elijah is the oldest of his siblings, and has been forging a path for himself in the US prep system, already stacking up three Division 1 offers to his name.

An explosive guard that plays with pace down-hill, Elijah is a handful in transition and is growing into a big, athletic lead guard.

Across the 2024-2025 season, Elijah will be playing for Roman Catholic in Philadelphia.

Airtime Basketball's 2024 Placement Program initiative made Elijah's move to states possible. Elijah's talent was identified and his placement on a full athletic scholarship to Roman Catholic was facilitated.
